TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's track & field featured split-squad action over the weekend and came away with multiple personal best times at the Tiffin Track Carnival and at Bucknell's Bison Outdoor Classic over the past three days of competition. Freshman Nora Hark took the javelin crown in Tiffin, while graduate student Laura Nicholson highlighted the group of Rockets in Bucknell. 
 
At Tiffin, Jones set a personal record in the 100m of 12.8 to round out the top-10 in the race. Her mark is the fastest 100m dash for the Rockets this season. Her PR was one of eight top-10 finishes for Toledo on Saturday, which included freshman Nora Hark winning the javelin with a distance of 37.81m. Fellow freshman Jordyn Wright tied for fourth in the pole vault by clearing the bar at 3.50m.
 
Nine distance runners competed in the 1500m at Bucknell, led by graduate Nicholson (4:17.63) in fourth, senior Vilde Henriksen (4:18.75) in fifth, and senior Lou Trois finishing sixth with a PR time of 4:30.20. Nicholson also led a group of eight Rockets with a third-place finish in the 800m (2:08.00), with Trois coming in fifth (2:09.96)., and senior Krystal Clark (2:10.25) crossing seventh overall. 
 
The Rockets will split between three meets next week, showcasing at the Mt. Sac Relays (April 17-20) in Torrance, Calif., the Wake Forest Invite (April 19) in Winston-Salem, NC., and the Jessie Owens Track Classic (April 19-20) in Columbus, Ohio.
