Rocket senior is at one-over par with four holes to play in second round

AUBURN, Ala. – Senior Barend Botha is in fourth place and leading the Toledo men's golf team on Monday with four holes remaining in Monday's second round at Auburn's Tiger Invitational by Jason Dufner. Toledo is in 11th place at the 16-team tournament that is being played at the par-72, 7,591-yard Auburn University Club.

Botha is currently at one-over par after shooting a three-over 75 in the opening round. After registering just one birdie in his first 18 holes, he has tallied five birdies through 14 holes in Round Two.

The remainder of the Rockets' lineup includes senior Palmer Yenrick (T-53^rd/+11), senior NJ Botha (T-59^th/+12), senior Jamie Tofte Nielsen (T-77^th/+16) and sophomore Mads Jensen (T-77^th/+16). Junior CJ van Wyk is competing as an individual and tied for 53^rd place at 11-over par.

The tournament will resume at 9:15 a.m. CT with the completion of the second round followed by the entire third round.
