TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's tennis team has another three-match weekend on the horizon beginning with a home match vs. Cleveland State on Friday, Feb. 9 at Shadow Valley Tennis Club. The Rockets will then head to Chicago State on Saturday afternoon and stop at Notre Dame on Sunday evening on the way back home.

"We're excited for a big weekend with three different challenges in three different environments," head coach Al Wermer said. "We want to use these opportunities to get better."

Last Time on the Court
Toledo (4-4) dropped a close 4-3 decision in its home opener with 2023 GLIAC Champion Wayne State last Friday. The Rockets trailed 3-1 in the match, but junior Hanamichi Carvajal and freshman Cole Cozens each won their third-set tiebreakers to even the match.

Senior Pawit Sornlaksup won his match from the top court for his third straight since his historic winning streak was snapped. He is 5-1 in dual competition this year with all of his wins being decided in two sets.
