Junior Yedam Lee ties for 17th place to lead Rockets
LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – The Toledo women's golf team concluded its first tournament of the spring with a seventh-place finish on Wednesday at the BGSU Women's Intercollegiate. The tournament was held at the par-71, 6,058-yard Wigwam Golf Course.
Junior Yedam Lee topped the Rockets today with a three-over par 74 to finish in a team-best 17th-place tie in the individual standings with a 17-over par 230. Senior Angel Hii was two shots behind Lee and tied for 21st place with a 19-over par 232.
The remainder of the Rockets' lineup included senior Cheryl Hong (T-41st/239), senior Macy Hanus (T-62nd /246), and freshman Mia Natividad (64th/247).
Grand Canyon won the tournament title at 44-over par, five strokes in front of Idaho.
Toledo will return to action when it travels to Gainesville, Fla. for the Florida Gators Invitational on Saturday-Sunday, March 2-3.
