Taylor Alt named Academic All-MAC for fourth time
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Toledo women's volleyball team had eight student-athletes named to the Academic All-MAC team for the 2024 season, the league office announced on Monday. Junior Macy Medors led the Rockets, tallying a 3.984 GPA.
Taylor Alt earned Academic All-MAC honors for the fourth time, becoming only the third Rocket to take home the honor four times. Izzy Granger and Medors are received the honor for the second-consecutive season. Anna Alford, Macy Hatkevich, Brooke Naniseni, Kayla Ozanich and Sierra Pertzborn were each named honorees for the first time.
Alt and Granger were also named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team in December.
To qualify, student-athletes must be a sophomore or higher academic standing, have maintained a 3.20 cumulative GPA or higher and competed in 50% of contests during the 2024 season.
