TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's volleyball team hosts its final home matches of the regular season as Ball State comes to Savage Arena this weekend. The Rockets and Cardinals will meet on Friday, Nov. 8 at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 9 at 4:00 p.m.
At the conclusion of Saturday's match, the Rockets will recognize graduate student
Ella Abraham and student manager Katie Baumgartner in a Senior Day celebration. Tickets to this weekend's matches can be purchased

Toledo currently owns an overall record of 15-11 (8-6 MAC) and is tied for sixth place in the Mid-American Conference standings with Ohio. Ball State sits at 16-8 (9-4 MAC) and is in fifth place within league standings. The top six teams in the conference will advance to the MAC Tournament, hosted by the No. 1 overall seed.
ROCKET NOTES
- Toledo ranks fourth in the conference in both total blocks (211.5) and blocks per set (2.20). The 211.5 total blocks are good for 54th in the nation.
- The Rockets 157 total service aces are good for fourth in the league and 44th nationally.
- Outside hitter Taylor Alt is third in the MAC in kills per set (3.75) and fourth in total kills (356). Her 356 total kills rank 37th in the country.
- Freshman libero Grace Freiberger is averaging 4.83 digs per set, which ranks third in the league and 29th nationally.
- Middle blocker Sierra Pertzborn has 98 total blocks, ranking sixth in the conference and 88th in the country. She is averaging 1.05 blocks per set, which ranks within the Top-10 all-time in Toledo volleyball season records.
SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
- Ball State leads the conference and ranks 31st in the country in hitting percentage, recording a .260 clip on the season.
- The Cardinals are third in blocks per set in the conference (2.40) and fourth in assists per set (12.21).
- Freshman outside hitter Carson Tyler leads the offense, averaging 3.29 kills per set which is sixth in the league.
- Freshman libero Sophie Ledbetter paces the defense with 3.33 digs per set. Sophomore middle hitter Gwen Crull leads the individual blocking efforts, averaging 1.15 blocks per set.
SERIES STUFF
- Ball State leads the all-time series, 73-12.
- The Rockets and Cardinals split the 2023 series, with each team taking a 3-0 win on their home court.
