Rockets in Ninth Place Following Round One of Cullan Brown Collegiate

Second round suspended due to darkness with approximately two holes to play.
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Toledo men's golf team was in ninth place following Monday's opening round of Kentucky's Cullan Brown Collegiate. The second round was suspended due to darkness with the majority of teams having two holes to play at the par-71, 7,280-yard Lexington Country Club.
Junior Mads Jensen and freshman Bence Bertenyi paced the Rockets in the first round by shooting four-over par 75s and were tied for 19th place.
Freshman Julius Lange was tied for 43rd place at six-over par 77, while senior CJ van Wyk was tied for 50th place at seven-over par 77. Sophomore Marijn Hoogeveen was tied for 65th place with a nine-over par 80.
The teams will compete the second round tomorrow morning with the third and final round to follow immediately.
