TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo football sophomore quarterback
John Alan Richter named the "Ironman of the Game," presented by Iron Workers Local Union No. 55 for his performance against Buffalo on Oct. 12.

Richter, who entered the game in the third quarter, completed 16-of-23 passes for 227 yards and two touchdowns. He finished the game with a 181.17 pass efficiency.

Richter was named via a fan vote on X/Twitter. Also considered were wide receiver
Jerjuan Newton, who caught both of Richter's TD passes and finished with a career-high 159 yards,
Maxen Hook who set a career high with 15 tackles and
Jackson Barrow who tied his career high with nine tackles.
Toledo (4-2, 1-1 MAC) will play at Northern Illinois on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 CT on ESPN+.
