Camps open for boys and girls entering third- through eighth-grades in June and July
TOLEDO, Ohio - The University of Toledo men's basketball program will be holding three camps this summer in Savage Arena. A day camp will be held for boys and girls entering third- through eighth-grades on June 10-13, June 24-27 and July 29-August 1.
Nearly 500 youngsters participated in last year's camps and spots for this year are expected to fill up quickly.

The purpose of the camps is to instruct young players in the fundamentals of the game and help instill in them a love and appreciation for basketball and good sportsmanship. Every participant can count on an exciting and rewarding week of playing hard, playing together, having fun and improving their basketball skills. Campers also will split into teams and play 5-on-5 games each day and have the opportunity to play in Savage Arena.
The fee for the camps is $275. A $25 discount will be provided for those who register online and who: a) Pay their fee in full by May 1; b) Attend more than one camp; or c) Have two or more family members attend a camp. Full-time employees of the University of Toledo will also receive a $25 discount for their child.
