Toledo Travels to Marshall for Final Non-Conference Meet

First race between Rockets and Thundering Herd set for 10:00 a.m. on ESPN+
Toledo, Ohio – The Toledo women's swimming & diving team will compete in its third-straight dual when it takes on Marshall on Saturday, Jan. 27 in Huntington, W. Va. The dual will be streamed live on ESPN+ beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the Frederick A. Fitch Natatorium.
Last Time in the Pool
Toledo won three events, setting four season-best swims and two personal-best dive scores, in its loss to Ball State last weekend. Freshman Leah Evans won the 100 butterfly for the third time this season, while senior Kennedy Lovell was victorious in the 200 freestyle for the second time this season. Senior Madison Giglio won the 3M dive for the fourth-straight dual, while senior Ryli Harden scored a PR 266.33 on the same board that now ranks No. 9 on the all-time Toledo record list.
About Marshall
Marshall has a 3-2 dual record this season, most recently winning both ends of its tri-meet with Duquesne and Buffalo on Jan. 12-13. Senior Audrey West earned the Sun Belt Conference's Swimmer of the Week honors for her performance in that tri-meet during which she recorded four top-2 individual finishes and anchored both first-place relay teams. Toledo's last visit to Marshall ended in a 172-127 defeat on Nov. 13, 2021.

Toledo and Bowling Green will each host one day of the two-day tri-meet with Buffalo on Friday-Saturday, Feb. 2-3. This will be the Rockets' senior night and last regular-season meet before the 2024 MAC Championships on Wed.-Sat. Feb. 28-Mar. 2 in Athens, Ohio.
