
Lou Trois, Alex Bauer Shine at West Virginia Last Chance Meet

Trois and Bauer place first and second in 1500m
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Lou Trois and Alex Bauer wrapped up the regular season for the Toledo women's track & field team at the West Virginia Last Chance Meet on Saturday. Trois and Bauer finished back-to-back in first and second place in the 1500m as the lone Rocket representatives in the meet.
Trois set the bar in the race with an event-winning time of 4:26.26. The junior was less than two seconds short of her fastest time of the season (4:24.90), set at the Bryan Clay Invitational. Bauer crossed the finish line in 4:27.57, coming within a second of her PR of 4:26.96, also set at the Bryan Clay Invitational earlier this season.
The Rockets will head to Akron on Thursday-Saturday, May 11-13 for the Mid-American Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The three-day event will be held at Lee R. Jackson Track & Field Complex on the campus of the University of Akron.
