Rockets will have a graduation celebration for their seniors before Friday’s 3:00 p.m. first pitch with Broncos
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo softball team will play its final home series this weekend at Scott Park vs. Western Michigan. The Rockets and Broncos will play a single game on Friday, that can be watched locally on BCSN, followed by a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon.

About Toledo (19-34, 12-13 MAC)
Toledo has had a week off since its 1-2 showing against Ohio in last week's mid-week series. Erin Hunt held the Bobcats scoreless in all but one inning in the series-opening 2-1 loss last Tuesday. The Rockets had a hard-hitting performance in a doubleheader on Wednesday afternoon, picking up an 11-3 victory in Game 1 before falling 10-9 (9 inn.) in the nightcap last Wednesday. UT recorded 14 hits in each game of the twin bill which ties a single-game record and had a season-high five stolen bases in Game 1 and five doubles in Game 2. Anna Dixon led the offense in the series, hitting .500 with three doubles and has a .800 CLG%. The senior went 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts, drove in three RBIs and scored five runs of her own.

Western Michigan had its final non-conference contest and fell 9-1 (5 inn.) to Michigan on Tuesday evening. Courtney Farrish doubled against the Wolverines for her 13th of the season. Farrish is averaging 0.27 doubles per game which is second in the MAC and ranks No. 67 nationally. As a team, the Broncos are hitting .267 this season and are headed by Addison Hudson who is hitting .354 (8th MAC) and Alyssa Kramer who has 25 runs scored on 41 hits, 23 RBIs and five homers. The pitching staff has a combined 4.40 ERA, with Risa Bajusz recording 153 strikeouts through 156.2 innings in the circle.
