TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo women's basketball assistant coach Danielle Page has been promoted to recruiting coordinator, head coach Tricia Cullop announced Monday.

Page, who recently wrapped up her fifth season with the Rockets, will lead the program's recruiting efforts starting immediately.

"Danielle has played a big part in helping our program achieve a high level of success," Cullop said. "It was obvious that she was the right choice to lead our recruiting efforts going forward. No one knows our program or what we need going forward better than her. She is a hard worker who has developed great relationships in the recruiting space. I know she'll do a terrific job."

In addition to serving as Toledo's recruiting coordinator, Page will continue to develop the program's post players and provide assistance with opponent scouting and academic support.

As an assistant coach at Toledo, Page has helped lead the Rockets to back-to-back MAC Regular Season Championships, a 2023 MAC Tournament title and a first-round NCAA Tournament viuctory over Iowa State. She has mentored a MAC Sixth Player of the Year honoree (Hannah Noveroske) and a pair of All-MAC honorees in Kaayla McIntyre (Second-Team All-MAC) and Mikaela Boyd (Honorable Mention All-MAC).

A rising star in college basketball coaching circles, Page (along with associate head coach Jessie Ivey) was selected to participate in the WBCA's inaugural Next Generation Institute. The Next Generation Institute, which was held in Dallas during the Final Four, is a new high-level education program for experienced assistant coaches who aspire to become head coaches at the NCAA Division I, II and III levels.

Page was a four-year letterwinner at Nebraska (2004-08) and is one of four players in Cornhusker history with at least 200 career blocks. Last summer, she was named an assistant coach for the Serbian National Team and helped coach the U20 squad at the 2022 European Championships. Page won a bronze medal as a player at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro with the Serbian National Team.
