TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo softball team will play in one more tournament this weekend, playing in five games at the UCF Softball Complex on Friday-Sunday, March 10-12 in Orlando, Fla. Single-series competition begins on Tuesday, March 14 in Detroit, Mich. 

Toledo's games vs. tournament host UCF will be streamed on ESPN+.

Last Time Out

• Toledo pulled a 5-2 upset over No.22 Northwestern in its final game of the Louisville Softball Cardinal Classic on March 5 in Louisville, Ky. The Rockets went 2-2 in the tournament. The win was the 50th career victory, fourth-most in program history, for RHP Erin Hunt in her 100th career appearance on the mound as a Rocket.
• Hunt pitched a one-run shutout, the 12th of her career and second this season, in the 3-0 (9 inn.) victory vs. Northern Kentucky on March 4. She ranks 10th in the MAC with a 2.86 ERA, and has 44 strikeouts while holding opponents to a .195 average.
• Lauren Erickson had a .455 batting average and a whopping 1.36 slugging percentage in four games in Louisville. She went 5-for-11 at the plate with two home runs, two triples, and eight RBIs.
• Riley Mohr had a great weekend in Louisville, hitting .562 with one double and four RBIs. She leads the Rockets and is 10th in the MAC with a .375 average.

About Penn (0-14, 0-0 Ivy League)

• Penn dropped its doubleheader with Creighton on Wednesday afternoon, both in shutouts, and has yet to get a win this season. Last season the Quakers finished 12-31 with a 7-14 Ivy League record.
• Penn will play North Dakota on Friday morning before its game vs. Toledo in the afternoon.

About UCF (10-13, 0-0 AAC)

• UCF was shut out 3-0 by No.8 Florida on Wednesday evening for its fifth straight loss leading up to this weekend's tournament.
• Jada Cody leads the Knights in the offense this season with 20 runs in 22 hits with two triples and four homers. Kaitlyn Felton has a 2.96 ERA through 49.2 innings of play with 54 strikeouts.

North Dakota (1-18, 0-0 Summit)

• North Dakota had an 0-6 showing at the Jeannine McHaney Memorial Classic in Lubbock, Tex. last weekend. UND is hitting .299 this season while opponents are hitting .352.
• The Fighting Hawks' first and only win this season came in the second game of its doubleheader vs. Lindenwood on Feb. 28. Sophomore Makaela Carr went the distance for UND and striking out eight Lions. 

About Kennesaw State (6-13, 0-0 ASun)

• Kennesaw State picked up a 5-0 victory against Georgia Southern on Tuesday evening to snap a three-game losing streak.
• Freshman pitcher Hilleary Kenley struck out two batters per inning through 5.0 innings of work, and seven of the Owls' nine starters recorded a hit on the evening.
