Toledo ranks 30th in country in team GPA
TOLEDO, Ohio – Nineteen student-athletes from the Toledo softball team earned Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete accolades for their academic accomplishments during the 2025-26 school year, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced.
The Rockets posted a team GPA of 3.681 throughout the 2025-26 school year which ranks 30th in the country and second among all Mid-American Conference programs, trailing only Ball State.
Madison McKay and Grace O'Malley earned their third Scholar-Athlete recognition while six were named to the team for the second-straight season. The 11 other honorees are first-time recipients of the award.
