Toledo Clashes with Ball State in Friday MAC Match

Rockets look to stay on winning track as they play host to the Cardinals
TOLEDO, Ohio – For the second time this season, the Toledo men's tennis team will take the court with Ball State, and this time it will be home-court advantage for the Rockets at Shadow Valley Tennis Club on Friday at 2:00 p.m.
Toledo defeated Ball State earlier this season, 4-3, in the conference-opener in Muncie, Ind. on March 11.Â
About the Rockets (11-5, 3-2 MAC)
Toledo got back in the win column with two road victories over the weekend over Buffalo and Binghamton.  Pawit Sornalksup (No.1), Krzysztof Wetoszka (No.2), Adam Kovac (No.4) and Luis Kleinschnitz (No.6) all won both matches over the weekend from their respective courts.
Sornlaksup's wins in New York state extended his winning streak to 36-straight matches and 17-0 in conference play, the longest streaks in program history. His efforts vs. Buffalo and Binghamton earned him MAC Male Scholar-Athlete of the Week and MAC Men's Singles Player of the Week honors.
Wetoszka's back-to-back wins keeps him undefeated in conference play this season and unbeaten in the last eight MAC matches going back to last April.
About Ball State (10-7, 2-3 MAC)
Ball State was also in New York state over the weekend, splitting its matches with a win over Binghamton 6-1 before falling to Buffalo 4-3. The Cardinals won both doubles team points over the weekend, while the only loss to the Bearcats was on the No. 5 singles court.
