TOLEDO, Ohio – Six members of the Toledo volleyball team were named Academic All-MAC by the league office this week.

Taylor Alt, Claire Eiden, Abby Erickson, Izzy Granger, Ryann Jaqua, and Macy Medors each earned the academic honor. Jaqua is now a four-time winner while Alt, Eiden, and Erickson are all three-time winners. Granger and Medors are receiving this award for the first time.

Jaqua is just the second four-time Academic All-MAC honoree in program history, joining former teammate Rhyen Neal.

Alt, Erickson, and Granger were all named Academic All-District earlier this month as well.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
