Toledo Women’s Tennis Inks Two More to 2024-25 Recruiting Class

Rockets add Neha Guru and Catherine Rhegness for next fall
TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo women's tennis head coach Tracy Mauntler announced the addition of Neha Guru and Catherine Rhegness to the Rockets' 2024-25 recruiting class today. Guru and Rhegness join previous signees Annika Munson and Jacklynka Scholten to the 2024-25 class.Â
All four signees are all USTAÂ nationally ranked class of 2024 recruits.
Neha Guru
Hometown: Irving, TX
High School: Coppell
Anticipated Major: Business Management
About Neha:
Tracy's take: "Neha is an elite doubles player whose athleticism will impact this team immediately. The current team felt a strong connection to Neha on her official visit and we all feel that she will fit into our culture and continue to help take this program to new heights."
Catherine Rhegness
Hometown: Toledo, OH
High School: Ottawa Hills High School
Anticipated Major: Accounting and Finance
About Cat:
Tracy's take: "Cat has grown up in Toledo and has always wanted to be on the hometown team. She's spent a lot of time coming to matches and watching the team compete. I think she will improve a lot in our environment here at Toledo and that's why she was offered a preferred walk-on spot."

- Rhegness is USTA ranked No. 179 in the country.
- A four-star recruit and the No. 7Â ranked player in the state of Ohio for the class of 2024.
- Four-year state qualifier at Ottawa Hills High School.
- Took fourth place in singles at states as a junior and fourth place in doubles at states as a senior.
- Two-time second-team All-Ohio and two-time first-team All-Ohio honoree.
