Toledo held a 43-32 advantage at halftime and put the game away with a 23-4 spurt in the opening six minutes of the second half.
"I thought we guarded well in the first half but just didn't make shots," Head Coach
Tod Kowalczyk said. "We shot only 32 percent. If we had made more shots, we could have had a little more separation."
Kowalczyk said he was pleased with his team's performance during its three games in Puerto Rico and the growth it has made heading into the 2022-23 season.
"The competition we faced here was probably better than we've had during our previous trips to Greece and Italy," Kowalczyk said. "We played well and were able to get a lot of guys in there for good minutes. There's no question we got a lot done this summer."
Toledo is scheduled to open its 2022-23 campaign in Savage Arena on Monday, Nov. 7 vs. Valparaiso.
