Lou Trois Finishes in 17th Place in 1500m at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Sophomore Lou Trois came in 17th place in the 1500m with a time of 4:23.57 at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia Thursday night. Trois was the lone representative for the Rockets at the prestigious meet.

Trois' time of 4:23.57 was about two seconds off her personal best time of 4:21.56 set at the Virginia Challenge last week, but still ranks as the sixth-fastest time in Toledo history in the outdoor 1500m.

Many of Trois' teammates will be competing this weekend at either the WMU Jack Shaw Invitational in Kalamazoo, Mich., and the UNF Invite in Jacksonville, Fla.

Fourteen Rockets will be competing on Friday-Saturday, April 29-30 at the WMU Jack Shaw Invitational. Field events begin Friday at 10:00 a.m., while running events will take place Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

Six Rockets will travel south to compete in the UNF Invitational. Friday's field events begin at 3:00 p.m. followed by running events at 7:00 p.m. Saturday's field events begin at 11:00 a.m and end with running events at noon.
