TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo men's golf team will play the final regular-season tournament of its 2021-22 campaign when it heads to Columbus, Ohio this weekend to compete in Ohio State's Robert Kepler Intercollegiate.

The tournament will be held on Saturday-Sunday, April 23-24 at the par-72, 7,077-yard Columbus Country Club with live scoring available on Golfstat.com. Tee times will begin at 7:30 a.m. with 36 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday.

The Rockets are competing against a field that includes five programs ranked in GolfStat's Top 60. Leading the way is No. 20 Illinois followed by No. 35 Ohio State, No. 37 Michigan State, No. 47 Northwestern, and No. 59 Indiana. Also participating will be fellow Mid-American Conference members Ball State, Kent State, Miami (Ohio) and Northern Illinois as well as Big Ten foes Michigan, Penn State and Rutgers.

Toledo's lineup will consist of sophomore Barend Botha (72.3 stroke average) at No. 1, senior Lukas Clark (72.7) at No. 2, sophomore Jamie Tofte Nielsen (73.4) at No. 3, senior David Amm (75.0) at No. 4, junior NJ Botha (73.4) at No. 5. Senior Max Siegfried (73.9) is competing as an individual.

Barend Botha paced the Rockets in their last event by tying for eighth place at the Stitch Intercollegiate. Botha shot a one-over par 217 and finished ahead of five individuals ranked in Golfstat's Top 60.
Toledo head to Naperville, Ill. next weekend for the MAC Championships. The tournament will be held at White Eagle Golf Club on April 29-May 1.
