ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Toledo Sophomore
Madison Giglio competed in the three-meter dive Tuesday afternoon on Day Two of the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships hosted by the University of Michigan.
Giglio finished 37th of 46 divers with a score of 235.90 in the prelims/ qualifiers. The top-18 scores advanced to the finals Tuesday night.
Zone C of the NCAA Diving Championships is allowed nine spots on the one-meter, 10 spots on the three-meter and nine spots on the platform into the NCAA Championships in Atlanta (March 16-19). Any diver that qualifies for the NCAA Championships will be allowed to optionally enter any other event(s) at the championships, as long as that diver finished in the top-12 at the same zone meet and has scored the zone qualifying score for that event prior to the NCAA Championships.
Senior
Joelle Gallais will compete in the women's platform event tomorrow. Prelims begin at 6:30 a.m. and finals are scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
