Joelle Gallais Narrowly Misses Advancing to Finals of NCAA Zones

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Toledo senior Joelle Gallais closed out the final day of the NCAA Zones C Diving Championship Wednesday afternoon in Ann Arbor, Mich. with a score of 197.00 to finish in 19th place in the prelims/ qualifiers of the platform dive. The top 18 scores advanced to the finals Wednesday afternoon.
Zone C of the NCAA Diving Championships is allowed nine spots on the platform into the NCAA Championships in Atlanta, Ga. (March 16-19). Any diver that qualifies for the NCAA Championships will be allowed to optionally enter any other event(s) at the championships, as long as that diver finished in the top-12 at the same zone meet and has scored the zone qualifying score for that event prior to the NCAA Championships.
