Three Rockets reached double figures in scoring on Monday night, including Hannah Noveroske who contributed 13 points and four blocks off the bench. Sophia Wiard tallied 12 points, seven assists, and six rebounds while Jayda Jansen added 11 points.
Marquette opened WNIT play with a 93-70 win over Ball State and advanced to the third round after defeating Purdue, 77-62, on Monday night.
The winner of Thursday's game will advance to the quarterfinals and face the winner of the Middle Tennessee/Vanderbilt game. That game is scheduled to tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Thursday.
