PLACIDA, Fla. - Sophomore Barend Botha and senior Lukas Clark tied for 12^th place with even-par 213's on Tuesday to lead Toledo to an eighth-place finish at the Coral Creek Club Invitational. The tournament at the par-71, 7,143-yard Coral Creek Club consisted of 12 teams ranked in Golfstat.com's Top 100, including five in the Top 50.

Botha carded the Rockets' best round today with a one-under par 70 and was at three-under par through 14 holes. Clark birdied four holes on his back nine to finish at one-over par in his final round.

Junior NJ Botha shot an even-par 71 to finish tied for 47^th place at seven-over par 220, while sophomore Jamie Tofte Nielsen tied for 51^st at eight-over par 221. Senior Max Siegfried (T-84^th/239) rounded out the Rocket lineup.

Tournament host FGCU captured the tournament title at 14-under par, 12 strokes in front of runner-up North Florida. The Rockets finished in a tie with No. 18 Texas A&M and No. 40 Kent State. South Alabama's Mathias Lorentzen captured medalist honors with an eight-under par 205.

Toledo returns to action in three weeks when it travels to Eatonton, Ga. on March 20-22 for the Linger Longer Invitational.
