BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Toledo's women's swimming and diving team was led by junior Kennedy Lovell who took ninth in the 200 Freestyle on Day Three of the Mid-American Conference Championships Friday night. Toledo is in eighth place at the meet with 149 points.

Toledo had four athletes swim in the finals, including Lovell, sophomore Sydney Conrad, junior Lauren Kilgore and sophomore Madison Giglio. Kilgore took 11th in the 100 Breaststroke, Conrad took 14th in the 200 Butterfly, and Giglio took 14th in the consolation round of the three-meter dive. Senior Joelle Gallais finished eighth in the three-meter dive prelims and will dive in the finals on Saturday.

The Rockets had two season-best swims and nine personal-best swims in the day.

Toledo will be back in the pool one more time for seven events tomorrow night for the final day of the MAC Championship. Prelims begin at 10:30 a.m. and finals are scheduled to begin with the 1,650 Freestyle at 6:30 p.m.
