TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo men's basketball team (20-5, 12-2 MAC) looks to avenge one of its two Mid-American Conference defeats this season when it hosts a red-hot Kent State squad (15-9, 10-4 MAC) on Tuesday, Feb. 15 in Savage Arena. Tipoff time is set for 6:00 p.m. for the contest that will be televised on the CBS Sports Network.

The Rockets are tied with Ohio (21-4, 12-2) for first place in the MAC and two games in front of the third-place Golden Flashes, who have won six straight games and edged Toledo, 66-63, at the M.A.C. Center on Jan. 1. The Rockets posted a 34.6 FG% in that contest, the only time in MAC play Toledo has shot under 43 percent this season. Sophomore Ryan Rollins paced the Rockets with 14 points and nine rebounds before fouling out with 30.4 seconds remaining.  Rollins connected on a three-pointer to knot the score at 62-62 with 56.0 seconds left, but KSU scored the final four points of the game.

Rollins ranks 23rd nationally with 19.9 ppg and is tied for the team lead with 6.2 rpg. JT Shumate is second on the team with 15.5 ppg and also grabbing 6.2 rpg. Setric Millner Jr. (14.3 ppg, 6.1 rpg) and junior RayJ Dennis (12.3 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 3.8 apg).

Dennis tallied a career-high 22 points, team-best eight rebounds and eight assists in Toledo's 100-72 victory at Northern Illinois on Saturday. Rollins (22 pts.) and Shumate (20 pts.) also surpassed the 20-point plateau and helped the Rockets shoot 55.0 percent. Toledo has shot over 50 percent in eight MAC contests and has registered over a 55.0 FG% on five occasions.

Tuesday's matchup features the top two defensive squads in the MAC. The Rockets are holding their opponents to a 39.9 FG%, while KSU's opposition is shooting 40.5 percent. Toledo is also second in three-point FG% defense (30.2), just ahead of the Golden Flashes at 30.4.

Kent State junior guard Sincere Carry ranks fifth in the MAC with a team-high 17.6 ppg  and is second with 4.6 apg. Junior guard Malique Jacobs ranks second in team scoring at 11.6 ppg and is fifth in the conference with 7.4 rpg.
