TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's volleyball team wraps up its regular season on Wednesday at Ball State. The match between the Rockets and Cardinals will begin at 6:00 p.m. and be streamed live on ESPN+.
2022 MAC Tournament
Toledo (18-10, 11-6 MAC) has already clinched a berth in the MAC Tournament, one of five teams to do so. The only spot up for grabs is the sixth and final spot, which is held by Northern Illinois (10-7) entering play Wednesday. Buffalo (9-8) can still earn the final tournament berth with a win over Akron and an NIU loss at Western Michigan.
Ball State (14-3) and Bowling Green (14-3) are tied atop the MAC standings entering the final day of the regular season. The Cardinals just need a win to clinch the regular season title, but a loss coupled with a BGSU victory over Miami would make the Falcons regular season champions. The regular season champion hosts the conference tournament, which begins Sunday, Nov. 20.
Here is how the standings look entering play on Wednesday, with only teams still alive for postseason play included:
- Ball State (22-7, 14-3 MAC)
- Bowling Green (19-9, 14-3 MAC)
- Ohio (18-10, 12-5 MAC)
- Central Michigan (18-10, 11-6 MAC)
- Toledo (18-10, 11-6 MAC)
- Northern Illinois (17-12, 10-7 MAC)
- Buffalo (17-12, 9-8 MAC)

Taylor Alt and
Jada Bouyer led the way in Friday's win, tallying 23 and 15 kills respectively, the latter of which is a career-high total for Bouyer. Both players stood tall in the final set, collected four kills each to help lead the Rockets to victory.
Olivia Vance was outstanding as well, adding 14 kills and four blocks while hitting .414.
The Rockets got off to a slow start on Saturday, dropping the first set before bouncing back to win the next three and cap their 2-0 weekend.

Olivia Vance tallied eight kills and a season-best seven blocks to help the cause.
Ryann Jaqua (11) and
