Mauntler Inks Two on NLI Signing Day

TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo women's tennis head coach Tracy Mauntler announced the addition of Lolita Gukasian and Gaby Rondon to national letter of intent this week.

"We've built such a strong, positive team culture here at Toledo and finding student-athletes who fit into our culture as well as ones who can contribute to the positive culture is very difficult, "head coach Tracy Mauntler said. "I'm thrilled to add both Lolita and Gaby to our Rocket family. They understand how important the "team" is in college tennis and are excited to bring their strengths to help the squad succeed."

Gukasian will be joining the program in January 2023 and Rondon will join next fall.

About Gaby:

Bobby Curtis Champion 16s in Florida.
Played Davis Cup Jr three-times in three different categories.
Top 300 ITF and have been top-5 in Florida and top-60 in the US when playing USTA.

Why Toledo? "I loved the people, the campus, the two days that I was there I really enjoyed it, the team and the coach was what made the decision the easiest."
