TOLEDO, Ohio - Sophomore guard Ryan Rollins has been named to the 2021-22 Lou Henson Award Mid-Season Watch list. The award is presented annually to the top mid-major player in NCAA Division I basketball.

Rollins' inclusion on the Henson Mid-Season Watch list marks the fourth time in the last five years a Rocket has been on the list. He joins former Rockets Tre'Shaun Fletcher (2017-18), Jaelan Sanford (2018-19) and Marreon Jackson (2020-21).

Rollins leads the Rockets with 19.3 ppg (2nd in MAC), 2.0 spg (1st in MAC), 64 free throws made and an 84.2 FT% (6th in MAC). He also ranks second on the team with 2.8 apg and has helped the Rockets post a 12-4 overall record and 4-1 mark in Mid-American Conference play.

Lou Henson coached for 41 years. When he left the game in 2005, he was sixth all-time in career Division I wins with 779. He is the winningest coach at both Illinois and New Mexico State. He is one of only 12 coaches in the history of the game to take two schools to the Final Four.
