Toledo Rockets Coach’s Show to Move to Campus Pollyeyes

TOLEDO, Ohio — The Toledo Rockets Coach's Show returns to the air this year with a new location, Campus Pollyeyes restaurant (3303 Dorr Street).
The first show of the 2021 season will debut on Monday, Aug. 30 at 6:00 p.m. Fans are welcome to join Head Football Coach Jason Candle and host Brent Balbinot, the "Voice of the Rockets," each week as they discuss Rocket Football and preview the upcoming game. Players and other special guests will also join the show each week.
The Toledo Rockets Coach's Show can be heard every Monday at 6:00 p.m. on WSPD (AM-1370) in Toledo, the flagship station of the Rocket Sports Radio Network. The show is also streamed live on UTRockets.com, the official website of University of Toledo Athletics.
Campus Pollyeyes opened its Toledo location at the corner of Dorr and Secor in May of 2020. The restaurant is best known for its "world famous" stuffed breadsticks as well as countless varieties of delicious pizza. Campus Pollyeyes will offer pizza and drink special during the Coach's Show, as well as special raffle prizes for Rocket fans.
"Campus Pollyeyes has been a Northwest Ohio tradition for over 40 years," said owner Kelly Nicholson-Sorley. "The Toledo location opened just over one year ago and we are thrilled to bring our "world famous stuffed breadsticks" to Toledo and also partner with the University of Toledo as hosts of the Coach's Show this year. We look forward to connecting with the community of Toledo and welcoming back UT students and alumni alike for an amazing year ahead."Â
