Toledo Women's Volleyball Schedule

TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's volleyball team announced its 2021 schedule on Wednesday.

"There are a lot of reasons to be excited about our schedule this year," head coach Jason Oliver said. "With matches against Power Five opponents and NCAA Tournament participants, I think we have a good mix of styles and venues that will challenge us.  I am excited to get after it and usher fans back into Savage Arena to cheer for their Rockets.

"It will be great to get back to a normal schedule. This year has been challenging to say the least. I know that everyone in the program is ready to hit the ground running and really show that we have navigated not only the past year well, but are ready to prove that we can take the next step in our growth as a program.

The Rockets' will open with an exhibition match at home against Findlay on Saturday, Aug. 21 before beginning their regular season at a tournament hosted by Virginia Tech the following weekend. Toledo will also play in non-conference tournaments at IUPUI (Sept. 3-4) and Morehead State (Sept. 17-18) while also hosting its own tournament (Sept. 10-11). The Rockets will welcome South Dakota State, Valparaiso, and Youngstown State to Savage Arena that weekend to kick off the home portion of their schedule.

Following the four non-conference tournaments, Toledo will play a 20-match conference schedule beginning Friday, Sept. 24. The Rockets' home conference opponents include Kent State, Western Michigan, Miami, Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, and Ball State. Their road MAC opponents will be Ohio, Buffalo, Akron, Ball State, Northern Illinois, and Central Michigan.

The 2021 MAC Tournament will be held on Nov. 22-24 on the campus of the regular season champion. The top six teams will earn tournament spots

Toledo will look to build off last spring's conference-only schedule. The Rockets return 14 players including First-Team All-MAC honoree Taylor Alt.
