TOLEDO, Ohio — Senior
Erin Hunt hurled a three-hitter and won her 20
th game of the season on Friday afternoon to lead the Toledo softball team to an 8-1 victory over Akron (8-43, 7-30 MAC) at Scott Park.
Hunt retired the first eight batters and struck out seven in a complete-game effort to help the Rockets (28-22, 18-16 MAC) capture the opener of their four-game series.
"Erin had another really clean game except for one inning," Head Coach
Joe Abraham said. Â "She has thrown so much this year that she is just gutting it out. Twenty wins is a huge accomplishment in today's day and age."

Sophomore
