TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo men's tennis team defeated Tiffin on Saturday afternoon by a score of 5-2.

Toledo started off the match by claiming the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead in the match. Both UT victories came rather easily as junior

Krzysztof Wetoszka were victorious on court No. 1 and freshman

Thawin Suksathaporn won on court No. 3.
The Rockets won their singles matches on the top four courts to help clinch the 5-2 win over the Dragons. Suksathaporn defeated his Tiffin counterpart on the top court, and sophomore
Max Skaer won on court No. 4 as well. A pair of freshmen,
Adam Kovac and
Wojciech Szczesny, were victorious on courts No. 2 and 3, respectively. Szczesny is now 3-0 in singles play this season and Skaer is 2-0 in singles contests.
The Rockets host Xavier on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Shadow Valley to conclude their weekend.
