Toledo Visits Eastern Michigan Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

TOLEDO, Ohio –  The University of Toledo women's basketball team (9-10, 5-10 MAC) visits Eastern Michigan (9-6, 4-6 MAC) on Sunday afternoon for a 2:00 game that will be streamed live on ESPN3.
The game was originally scheduled for a 5:00 p.m. start, but was pushed up to 2:00 p.m. after EMU's home volleyball match on Sunday afternoon was postponed.
The Rockets and Eagles were supposed to play this game on Wednesday, Feb. 3 but the game was postponed due to positive COVID-19 tests within the Eastern Michigan women's basketball program.
Two of the five remaining games on Toledo's regular season schedule are against EMU. The Midnight Blue and Gold will welcome the Eagles to Savage Arena on Saturday, March 6 in their regular season finale.
Where They Stand
The Rockets currently sit 3.5 games back in the standings from No. 8 seed Kent State. The top eight team qualify for the MAC Tournament (March 10-13). The Golden Flashes have won both games against Toledo this season.
Toledo faces the current No. 7 seed Eastern Michigan twice, No. 6 seed Ball State once, No. 3 seed Central Michigan once, and the 10th-place team in the MAC Western Michigan once. Kent State's remaining games are at Northern Illinois (twice), vs. Buffalo, at Miami, at Bowling Green, and vs. Akron.

Toledo lost at home to Miami on Wednesday, 62-60, despite a furious fourth-quarter comeback.
The RedHawks never trailed in the game and led by as many as 23 in the second quarter. But the Rockets outscored them 41-26 in the second half, including a 13-2 run in the final 1:50 that featured six Miami turnovers. Tatyana Davis knocked down a three-point to put UT within two, 62-60, but the shot left just 0.1 seconds on the clock, rendering the game over. Toledo's defense forced 26 turnovers on the night, but the RedHawks won the battle on the glass, 49-28.
Quinesha Lockett led the way offensively with 19 points while Davis added 16 points and a career-best four three pointers.

- Â Quinesha Lockett has been excellent as of late, scoring at least 20 points in three of her last four games. The Omaha, Neb. native is averaging 19.4 points per game this year. If the season ended today, that would rank eighth all-time in program history for single-season scoring average.
- This upcoming week will be the second time in three weeks that the Rockets play three games in a week. They played at Kent State on Monday, Feb. 8, hosted Buffalo on Wednesday, Feb. 10 and visited Akron on Saturday, Feb. 13. This week after the game at EMU Toledo will visit Central Michigan on Wednesday then host Ball State on Saturday.
