TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo men's basketball team (5-1) returns home from last week's successful trip to the Bahamas to host NAIA foe Northwestern Ohio (2-7) on Monday, Nov. 29. Tip-off time in Savage Arena is set for 7:00 p.m. with streaming on ESPN3.
       The Rockets captured the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship (Nov. 22-24) with victories over Charlotte (98-86), Tulane (68-67) and Coastal Carolina (79-70). Sophomore
Ryan Rollins earned Tournament MVP honors after scoring a career-high 35 points in Toledo's championship-game win over the Chanticleers. Rollins averaged 24.3 ppg and 5.3 rpg while shooting 49.1 percent from the field and knocking down 16-of-19 free-throw attempts in three contests.
       Junior forward
Setric Millner Jr. also earned all-tournament team honors after tallying 20.0 ppg and 6.7 rpg with a 50.0 FG%, 63.6 3PTFG% (7-of-11) and 86.7 FT% (13-of-15). Junior forward
JT Shumate enjoyed a strong tournament showing as well with 15.3 ppg, 7.0 rpg and a 64.0 FG%.
       Rollins is leading the Mid-American Conference with 21.3 ppg with Shumate (15.5 ppg), Millner (14.5) and junior guard
RayJ Dennis (11.2 ppg) also averaging double-digit point totals. Shumate is leading Toledo with 7.8 rpg, followed closely by Millner's 7.3 rpg.
       The Rockets are outrebounding their opposition by 7.1 rpg this season and were a plus-11.0 rpg in their three contests in the Bahamas.
    Northwestern Ohio is coming off a 94-69 setback at Lourdes University on Nov. 23. Biggz Johnson leads the Racers with 12.3 ppg, while Ben Westrick ranks second with 11.2 ppg to go along with a team-high 5.8 rpg.
