Four Rockets Earn CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

TOLEDO, Ohio – Four student-athletes from the University of Toledo football program were named CoSIDA Academic All-District on Thursday, the organization announced.

Seniors Tycen Anderson, Bryce Harris, Sean Mills, and Drew Rosi all earned the prestigious distinction. This is the second Academic All-District honor for Anderson and Rosi, and the first for Harris and Mills.

All four players will now be on the ballot for Academic All-America, which will be announced in mid-December.

A 2020 Academic All-District honoree, Anderson has played in eight games this year, tallying 41 tackles, two tackles for loss and one sack. After missing the first three games of the season due to injury, he made his 2021 debut at Ball State, and has started the last six games at safety. Anderson earned his bachelor's degree in business in the Fall of 2020 and is currently pursuing his MBA.

Harris has started every game at center this season, giving him 50 career starts in 55 career games. A two-time All-MAC selection, he was named a semifinalist for the Jason Witten Man of the Year Award earlier this year. Harris graduated in May of 2019 with a degree in psychology and is currently pursuing his master's degree in counselor education.

Mills has appeared in 41 contests as Toledo's long snapper in his career. He has been named to the Mannelly Award Watch List each of the past two seasons, which honors the nation's top long snapper. A 2020 Academic All-MAC honoree, Mills has already earned his bachelor's degree in business and is currently pursuing his MBA.

A 2020 Academic All-District  performer, Rosi has played in 10 games this season, catching seven passes for 105 yards and one touchdown. For his career, he has 46 receptions for 589 yards and three TDs. Rosi, a 2020 Academic All-MAC honoree, has earned his bachelor's degree in finance and is currently pursuing his MBA.
