GREENSBORO, N.C. – Toledo continued its strong play from its last two tournaments and is in a first-place tie at nine-under par with Saturday's second round nearly complete at the Grandover Collegiate. The Rockets are tied with Davidson and Elon, however, the Phoenix still need to conclude their second round.

Sophomores Jamie Tofte Nielsen and Barend Botha are leading the Rockets at 10-under and eight-under par, respectively. The duo is in second and third place, respectively, and trails UNC-Greensboro's Nick Lyerly by two strokes. Lyerly still has one hole to play in the second round.

Nielsen put together a flawless opening round with five birdies en route to a career-low five-under par 67. He matched that total in his final 18 holes with an eagle, four birdies and a bogey.

Botha collected six birdies and a double bogey in his first 18 holes before posting an eagle, four birdies and two bogeys in his final round.

Senior Lukas Clark is tied for 35^th place at three-over par 147 (73-74) and is followed by senior David Amm (74-78=152/T-63^rd) and senior Max Siegfried (79-76=155/T-77^th).

The tournament's final round will be held tomorrow.
