Sloane Teske of the University of Toledo women's tennis team completed their run at ITA Super Midwest Regionals with a 1-1 record on Friday.
Alcala and Teske started the day with a big 8-6 win over the doubles team of Kida Ferrari and Kasia Treiber from the University of Illinois. The Rockets were then paired up with the No. 1-seeded tandem of Kolie Allen and Isabelle Boulais from No.12 Ohio State, and fell to their Buckeye counterparts 8-2 in the quarterfinals

"Sloane and Cassie have made huge strides since last year," head coach
Tracy Mauntler said. "They've had some really impressive wins this fall and will continue to get better. They beat an incredibly talented team, which shows their hard work is paying off."
Toledo will be back in action for its fall finale Oct. 29-30. The Rocket Invite will take place at the Twos Athletic Club.
