Toledo Places Seventh at Ozarks National Invitational

HOLLISTER, Mo. – Junior Amelia Lee registered a career-best finish as well as a career-low 54-hole total to help Toledo to a seventh-place showing at the Ozarks National Invitational on Wednesday. The tournament was played at the par-72, 6,107-yard Ozarks National Club and served as the Rockets' final fall event.
Lee tied for third place at one-under par 215 (70-71-74) and was one of just four individuals to finish under par in the tournament. Oral Roberts' Sarah Bell captured medalist honors at 13-under par 202, seven shots in front of Arkansas State's Olivia Schmidt's seven-under par 209.
Freshman Yedam Lee tied for 29th place at 12-over par 228 (74-78-76), four strokes ahead of sophomore Angel Hii (T-41st/75-80-77=232). Rounding out the Rocket lineup were sophomore Cheryl Hong (T-54th/79-77-82=238) and freshman Cameron Ford (T-58th/79-81-80=240).
Junior Kathryn Roth (78th/83-86-83=252) and sophomore Kait Natividad (84th/87-90-85=262) competed as individuals.
