Rockets Wrapping Up Fall at Ozarks National Invitational

TOLEDO, Ohio –The Toledo women's golf team will travel to Hollister, Mo. this week for the Ozarks National Invitational. The tournament will be held on Monday-Wednesday, Oct. 18-20 at the par-72, 6,107-yard Ozarks National Club which is ranked No. 30 in the Golf Digest Top 100 Public Courses in America.

Play will begin with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start on Monday and Tuesday with an 8:00 a.m. tee time being utilized on Wednesday.

Joining the Rockets in the field are Arkansas State, Ball State, Central Arkansas, Cincinnati, Creighton, Indiana State, Middle Tennessee State, Murray State, Northern Iowa, Oral Roberts, Southern Illinois, Wichita State and host Missouri State.

The Ozarks National Invitational will be the final tournament Toledo is competing in this fall. Toledo's lineup will include sophomore Cheryl Hong at No. 1, sophomore Angel Hii at No. 2, junior Amelia Lee at No. 3, freshman Yedam Lee at No. 4 and freshman Cameron Ford at No. 5. Junior Kathryn Roth and sophomore Kait Natividad are competing as individuals.

Hong tied for third place at the Rocket Classic earlier this week to lead Toledo to a second-place showing. She shot one-over par 73s in the second and third round en route to a 54-hole score of 226. Also finishing in the Top 10 for the Rockets were junior Amelia Lee (76-74-80) and sophomore Angel Hii (75-77-78), who tied for ninth place at 230.
