TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's volleyball team (14-4, 5-1 MAC) hosts MAC West Division foe Western Michigan (13-5, 6-1 MAC) this weekend for a pair of matches at Savage Arena.
Friday's contest will begin at 6:00 p.m. on ESPN+, while Saturday's tilt is set for a 3:00 p.m. start on ESPN3.
The Rockets have won five straight matches, all in three sets, and will face a WMU team that currently holds the top spot in the MAC West.
Last Time Out
Toledo extended its winning streak to five with victories at Buffalo and Akron last weekend.
Toledo was dominant offensively on Friday night, hitting a season-best .385 against Buffalo, its highest attack percentage since 2019 (.394 vs. Western Illinois, Sept. 13).
Taylor Alt had a match-high 14 kills while hitting .423, and
Sina Uluave hit .435 with 11 terminations.
Against the Zips on Saturday, the Rockets held their opponents to a .099 attack percentage and were led by
Taylor Alt once again, who hit .429 and had 13 kills.
Elaine Redman added 34 assists while
Rhyenne Filisi and
Sina Uluave added eight kills apiece.

- With Friday's win at Buffalo, Toledo was officially off to its best start in school history at 13-4. The previous best was 2004, when the Rockets started 12-5.
