TOLEDO, Ohio - Senior guard Marreon Jackson has been named to the 2020-21 Lou Henson Award Mid-Season Watch list. The award is presented annually to the top mid-major player in NCAA Division I basketball.

Jackson's inclusion on the Henson Mid-Season Watch list marks the third time in the last four years a Rocket has been on the list. He joins former Rockets Tre'Shaun Fletcher (2017-18) and Jaelan Sanford (2018-19).

Jackson leads the Rockets with 17.0 ppg (7th in MAC), 5.6 apg (2nd in MAC), 2.1 spg (2nd in MAC) and a 95.1 FT% (3rd in nation). He also ranks second on the team with 54 three-point field goals and has helped the Rockets post a 14-4 overall record and 9-1 mark in Mid-American Conference play.

Lou Henson coached 41 years. When he left the game in 2005, he was sixth all-time in career Division I wins with 779. He is the winningest coach at both Illinois and New Mexico State. He is one of only 12 coaches in the history of the game to take two schools to the Final Four.
