CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Toledo women's tennis team fell to Cleveland State, 5-2, on Friday. 

"I'm disappointed in the way we came out for doubles, but I felt we rebounded in singles and competed much better," said head coach Tracy Mauntler. "I expect more from this group overall, and I know they will get better from this loss. Credit to a very good Cleveland State team." 

The Rockets dropped the doubles point with losses on the No. 1 and No. 2 courts. In singles action, freshman Sloane Teske posted a 6-1, 6-3 win over Gaby Schoenberg on the No. 4 court. Senior Dee Dee Leenabanchong posted the Rockets' second point, with a 7-6(7), 7-6(4) win over Klara Mrcela on the No. 1 court.
