Max Skaer from the No. 5 and No. 6 courts during singles play.Â

"In singles we see improvements in a lot of areas and we're pleased, all things considered, with our progress and efforts," said head coach
Al Wermer. "We can bring more to doubles, and we will."Â Â

Kleinschnitz came out victorious after a three-set battle against Kade Mindry. Kleinschnitz fell 4-6 in the first set before rallying in the second and third sets 6-6, 10-6. Skaer defeated Jack Santilli after winning the first set 6-0 and falling in the second 4-6. Skaer sealed the victory on the No. 6 court with a score of 11-9 in the third set.Â

The Rockets gear up for a double feature on Jan. 24 in Dayton, Ohio, as they take on Wright State at 11:00 a.m. and Dayton at 7:00 p.m. Both matches will be played at the South Regency Tennis Center.Â
