LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Toledo men's tennis team fell to Kentucky, 6-1, in Lexington, Ky. on Thursday.
"We were a bit shorthanded today, but competed extremely well," said head coach
Al Wermer. "The guys are learning the ebbs and flows of a dual match."
On the No. 3 court, freshman
Luis Kleinschnitz entered a three-set battle against Jonathan Sorbo, winning the first set, 6-3. Kleinschnitz dropped the second set, 4-6, before rallying to clinch the third, 6-0, to post the Rockets' sole point.
The Wildcats opened dual match play in the morning with a clean sweep of Cleveland State prior to their match against the Rockets.
