TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's basketball program will hold Rockets for Alopecia Night for its matchup vs. arch-rival Bowling Green on Saturday, Jan. 25. Tip-off time for the contest in Savage Arena is set for 7:00 p.m.

The purpose for Rockets for Alopecia is to help generate awareness of the autoimmune disease which attacks the body's hair follicles and causes hair loss. Associate head coach
Jeff Massey's eight-year old daughter, Kayla, was diagnosed with the disease when she was four years old.
Kayla and other people who have the disease will serve as anthem buddies prior to the game and be recognized on the court during the contest's first media timeout.

Tickets for the game can be purchased for $12.50 in the Upper A East Section and $9.50 in the Upper B East Section with $2.00 from every ticket sold going to support the Alopecia cause. To purchase the tickets go to

An additional fundraising event that includes dancing, hors d'ouevres and a silent auction will be held on Friday, Jan. 24 from 7:00-11:00 p.m. at Brandywine Country Club in Maumee, Ohio. For additional information go to
