When did you first start playing volleyball?
I started playing volleyball when I was around nine years old and I was a libero until I was about 14. I became an outside hitter when I finally started growing and getting taller.
What's your earliest volleyball memory?
My earliest memory is having to run laps at practice because my dad was my first coach and I would talk back to him.
What is your favorite thing about being a volleyball player?
My favorite thing about being a volleyball player is the celebration after a big point when everyone comes together cheering.
Why did you decide to come to the University of Toledo to play volleyball?
Toledo let me compete on both the volleyball and track team. My sister also went to Toledo so I already knew the campus really well.
What do you love the most about being a Toledo Rocket?
The fans and the amazing facilities. We have a great locker room and an enormous gym.
Who are your role models?
One of my role models is Kate Hall. She is a professional long jumper and American junior record holder who also has type one diabetes.
What is your favorite spot on campus?
My favorite spot on campus is the third floor of the library. It's the perfect place to study, especially for someone who gets easily distracted. Plus there is a Starbucks just one floor away.
What is your major and why did you choose it?
My major is biology. I picked this major because it will allow me to go the PA school and help other people with diabetes.
What is the most interesting class you've taken at Toledo?
The most interesting class I have taken here is cell biology. The teacher was very passionate and the material was interesting.
What do you want to do after graduation?
I want to try and play volleyball overseas for as long as I can. Then I want to become a physician's assistant at an endocrinologists office and work with other athletes with type one diabetes.
Not including volleyball, what sport are you the best at?
The next sport that I'm best at is track and field.
(Chloee is a member of the Toledo track and field team, where she qualified for the 2019 MAC Indoor Championships in the shot put and the MAC Outdoor Championships in shot put and discus).
What are your hobbies outside of sports?
I like to play the violin.
What is your dream vacation spot?
My dream vacation spot would be Paris.
What is your favorite restaurant in Toledo?
Barry's bagels.
