Toledo, Ohio - The University of Toledo men's tennis team was ranked 12th on the 2019 Top 25 Men's Mid-Major Recruiting Classes list, released by TennisRecruiting.net on Monday.
"These recruiting rankings are fun for the prognosticators, but may or may not translate to actual results," said head coach Al Wermer. "I just know we feel great about this incoming group, along with Filip Zupancic, who is a transfer from the NCAA Division II champions, Barry University. So let's just see what happens."
Highlighted by TennisRecruiting.net were Luis Kleinschnitz, Aleksa Ciric, Krzysztof Wetoszka and Max Skaer. Skaer holds a three-star player rating, while Kleinschnitz, Ciric, and Wetoszka have recorded UTR scores above 12.00.
Ciric, Kleinschnitz, Skaer, Wetoszka and Zupancic will join the Rockets in the fall.
