Game 1:
Toledo and Kent State came ready to play in game one with both sides combining for five home runs in the middle game of the series.
- Kent State jumped on the board in the first inning for the second-straight game thanks to a double from cleanup hitter Carlee Selle. KSU doubled their lead three batters later with another double from Maria Cegledy.
- The Rockets answered in the bottom of the second when junior Morgan Paaverud drilled a three-run homer to make the score 4-3.
- The Golden Flashes immediately answered in the next inning when Brenna Brownfield homered to score two and cushion her side's lead to 6-3.
- Kent State kept the momentum going in the fourth when Hunter Brancifort hit a solo homer, and the lead was increased in the seventh off a home run from Bailey Brownfield to make it 8-3.
- Toledo started a late-inning rally in the bottom of the fifth when Cozy nudged a bases-loaded sac fly. The chance only let one runner come in though and the other two were left on the bags as sophomore Bekah Yenrick flew out for the final out.
- Toledo's fifth run came in the sixth when sophomore Kylie Norwood added a bases-loaded single that scored one.
- A final leadoff home run in the seventh from Cozy scored UT's final run but the Rockets couldn't build off the energy.

Game 2:
- Toledo took its first lead of the weekend in the opening frame of game two. The Golden Flashes scored early with a double-single combo but UT answered in the bottom of the inning when Cozy registered her second dinger of the day to put her side up 2-1.
- Cozy earned her third RBI of the game in the second when a single to left brought around Norwood and put the Rockets up 3-1.
- Kent State added one in the fourth with a double from Jen Cader, but the run didn't phase Toledo as the Midnight Blue and Gold scored two more from Cozy. The third baseman's single brought in UT's final runs of the day and allowed the Rockets to coast their way to victory and give sophomore pitcher Maggie McGurk her third win of the season.
